We offer a wide range of cold smoked, hot smoked and marinated/gravad fish products. 

All our products are smoked at our own smokehouse, Nopalax, where a rich taste is ensured by hand- and dry salting, and smoking at just the right time and degree.

Our products are mainly 1 kg+ and suitable for wholesale and catering.

Processing

    Core temperature must be over 75 degrees

For our smoked products we use two types of smoking methods:
 
  • Rope hung
  • Laid on trolley 

Brand

  • Our brand – Nopalax
  • Neutral brand – No name, decorated emballage
  • Plain bag – No name, transparant emballage

All our products are vacuum packed.
Most of our products are laid on gold/silver or black cardboard plate.

Home smoked at our own smoke­house

All our smoked fish products are hand- and dry salted, smoked, and sliced at our own smokehouse, Nopalax in Hundested, Denmark.

The port of Hundested has a long standing tradition for high quality smoked fish, as it has been a dynamic center of smokehouses since the beginning of the 19th century.
